The Regional Business Development Leader will be responsible for engaging with clients and teammates to deliver outstanding client focus, creativity, and state of the art solutions to clients in Healthcare, Corporate/Commercial, Multifamily, Senior Living and related markets.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate client development efforts in the Texas region.
- Lead and grow successful partnering relationships with clients and consultants resulting in industry leading strategies and project solutions.
- Network with industry counterparts to facilitate teaming and partnership opportunities.
- Participate and hold leadership positions in client facing organizations.
- Promote a positive team environment by actively listening to client feedback and providing coaching, mentoring and support to project team. Promote strong relationships at all levels.
- Partner closely with other firm market leaders to bring innovations to current and prospective clients.
- Promote the Principal in Charge format for assuring client satisfaction and act objectively as a client advocate in the PIC role.
- Capture and communicate key client goals. Establish a clear team vision of success through the client’s lens. Maintain metrics to objectively manage to the client’s goals.
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the Firm’s Healthcare, Corporate/Commercial, Senior Living and Multifamily practice and contribute to the firm strategic planning process.
- Monitor and track the efficiency, effectiveness, and cost of sales for sales targets, ensuring they are consistent with the goals the company.
- Assist the Marketing Director with marketing collateral materials to ensure timeliness and consistency with the strategic direction of the firm.
- Assist as needed with responses to requests for proposals, in coordination with Marketing Director.
- Partner with Operations Director on manpower and revenue forecasting for the Texas Region.
- Monitor “leads” including tracking potential RFP’s/RFQ’s (Request for proposal/qualification).
- Support the firm’s trade show and convention efforts. Assist Marketing Coordinators with trade show materials as well as on-site set up and participation.
- Utilize CRM to track opportunities, leads and contacts. Work with Marketing Directory to ensure CRM data about Texas opportunities, leads and contacts is updated.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor and/or Master of Architecture degree or related degree(s).
- Minimum of 15 years of client development and project delivery experience required.
- Demonstrated professional commitment to one or more markets including Healthcare, Corporate/Commercial, Multifamily, Senior Living .
- Professional licensure and LEED accreditation is preferred.
- Proven track record of developing strong client relationships and growing client accounts.
- Outstanding presentation, communication and team building skills are required.
- Strategic planning and market research skills and experience are preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other common industry software is preferred.
