The Senior Project Coordinator will lead the technical design of Hospitality projects from schematic design through construction to maintain standards of excellence. Technical design responsibilities include drawing documentation, specifications, consultant coordination and construction administration including shop drawings, submittals and contractor coordination / direction as required.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent in education or experience.
- 6-8 years of experience in architectural practice
- Hospitality project experience preferred
- Architectural registration desired or on path to licensure.
- Proficient in Revit (must have experience putting together full sets of CD's using Revit)
- Able to train and mentor younger staff.
- Capable of coordinating with consultants and communicating with clients.
- This person will support a Project Manager but will be responsible to lead and manage portions of a project all by themselves.
- Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, and meet deadlines.
- performs project due diligence, preparing applicable code analysis related to projects
- understands how a set of construction documents is put together
- detail oriented with a commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity of information
- can work well with all levels of teammates
- desire to mentor and teach emerging professionals
- computer software knowledge, skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft programs is a must
- manages time to meet project deadlines and budgets
- contributes to the permitting & bid processes.
