Regional Business Development Manager - North Texas/Dallas
Description: Regional Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth by cultivating relationships and opportunities in architecture in North Texas markets. With a target market focus in Municipal and County Governments, and Commercial sectors. This position requires a proactive and strategic approach to identifying and securing high-caliber public and private clients leveraging Firm’s market sector portfolio. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, team collaborator, confident communicator, creative problem solver, and relationship builder.
Requirements
- Business Development experience within the A/E/C industry REQUIRED
- Proven track record of winning work and cultivating client relationships in the Municipal and Community and Commercial sectors preferred.
- Proven strategic planning and decision-making skills for evaluating leads and opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experienced in proposal and RFQ/RFP development
- The ability to foster and maintain long-term relationships with municipal agencies and consultants
- Experience with CRM systems
- Strong and motivated collaborative mindset, working effectively with marketing team and market sector leaders to align business development efforts with project execution and promotion
- Active engagement in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance Firm’s presence in the DFW area.
- Knowledge of market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks in the Texas market
Responsibilities
- Execute a Business Development Plan developed by the Division Principal and evaluate leads using a strategic go/no-go process
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Texas, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals and short-term initiatives
- Monitor regional market conditions to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing regular reports and updates to senior leadership
- Collaborate in the development of proposals, presentations, and RFQ/RFP responses with the Marketing Department, Market Sector Leader and
Division Principal
- Represent Firm at industry events and conferences, along with designated team members as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including municipal agencies, and consultants
