We are seeking a Technical/Project Architect for a family-oriented design firm in their Fort Worth,TX office, to work on Commercial projects in all phases. 

Responsibilities: 

• Contributes to effective project management by recognizing the scope of individual projects.
• Researches and defines tasks to be accomplished on individual projects.
• Contributes to business development by establishing and maintaining trust and confidence with clients.
• Contributes to project team by performing the technical work of each assigned task. Coordinates the technical efforts of individuals’ assigned tasks. Assures tasks are completed within designated time frames.
• Monitors progress toward deliverable schedules. Keeps Project Manager apprised of project status and submits recommendations for approvals as projects progresses or when necessary.
• Prepares project designs and construction documents and draft specifications.
• Contributes to the project team by working closely with others to insure fulfillment of contract requirements. Provides assistance to the other team member on other projects.
• Maintains proficiency in the operations of current AutoCad, word processing and spreadsheet programs use by the office.
• Ensures continues development of self through programs which enhance knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Contributes to the overall team effort by completing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education  - A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a 4/5 year college or university or equivalent to 8 years of progressive experience in the architectural field.
• Work Experience – 5 to 10 years related experience in an Architectural Firm in addition to the requirement above with experience in coordinating technical efforts of self and others.
•  and specifications for a total building package.
• Proficiency with Revit and Autocad required.
• Professional Architectural License or in process of completing ARE exams.
