We are seeking a Registered Architect with expertise in Higher Education and/or Municipal markets for an Associate Principal role for a full service architecture firm in their Dallas office.
The Associate Principal with partner with Lead Principal in business development, to bring in work for the Dallas office in the Higher Education and/or Municipal project markets, act as Studio Lead for market sector, develop and manage client relationships, and manage project teams. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and Assist in client development efforts in the Dallas/Fort Worth region.
• Lead and grow successful partnering relationships with clients and consultants resulting in industry leading strategies and project solutions.
• Network with industry counterparts to facilitate teaming and partnership opportunities.
• Participate and hold leadership positions in client facing organizations.
• Promote a positive team environment by actively listening to client feedback and providing coaching, mentoring and support to project team. Promote strong relationships at all levels.
• Manage projects through all phases, mentoring staff, assuring client satisfaction, managing budgets, and quality control to ensure project deadlines are met. 

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture from an accredited university
• License in Architecture Required
• 10+ years of professional architecture experience 
• Significant project experience in Higher Education and/or municipal projects
• 5+ years in leadership/management positions
• Proven track record of developing strong client relationships and growing client accounts.
• Outstanding presentation, communication and team building skills are required.
