The Architectural Project Coordinator must have 1-7 years’ experience in Architecture or construction and a Professional Design Degree or equivalent degree or training. In this position, the applicant is responsible for managing multiple projects through development, design, and construction.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed documents meeting specific standards, building codes, and guidelines.
- Complete code review and project submittals with minimal supervision
- Coordination with engineers and consultants
- Technical proficiency with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and other applications
- Manage multiple project deadlines with consultants and production team
- Occasional onsite observation of work during C.A.
- Meet with regulatory authorities and parties as necessary
Requirements and Competencies
- Professional or Masters degree in Architecture working towards licensure.
- Proficiency with Revit for production of Construction Documents.
- Some technical knowledge of building systems and products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
- Software proficiency with SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar packages (desired).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
