We are seeking a
Licensed Structural Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer E.I.T. with hands-on experience working through all phases of commercial building projects.
The Structural Engineer will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the design of structures across a broad spectrum of projects, with a particular emphasis on apartment buildings and multi-level structures. This is a hands-on position focused on engineering design and calculations, contributing to and managing projects through all phases.

Requirements:
- Degree in civil/structural engineering or architectural engineering.
- Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering strongly preferred
- Must be Licensed Professional Engineer ( P.E. ) OR E.I.T. in process of licensure.
- 3-15 years of experience with commercial building structures.
- Structural Steel, elevated concrete and post-tensioned concrete, and Wood-framed structural experience required.
- Experience in high seismic and wind regions.
- Experience with expansive soils.
- Familiar with all applicable design codes and technical software
- Experience with finite element modeling.
Responsibilities:
- Design structures for commercial and multifamily residential buildings.
- Develop and coordinate construction documents.
- Visit construction sites on their own projects.
- Use state-of-the-art software for analysis, design, and drawing.
- Work in a supportive team environment aided by structural engineers with decades of experience, as well as other recent graduates.
- Mentor more junior level staff.
- Manage and contribute to projects through all phases.
- Answer RFI's.
